Using the LDP Consultation System you can respond to current documents and view responses to previous consultation documents.

How to Respond

There are 2 types of consultations and each has a different way to respond, but first, Register or log in.

1. Document consultations

To make a representation using the online form:

  1. Select a document from the box "Current Documents Open to public consultation" on the LDP Home page.
  2. Use the contents list to select a section of the document that you want to respond to.
  3. Write This pencil icon is placed next to relevant headings, policies, paragraphs or questions/feedback boxes to allow you to respond
  4. View This magnifying glass icon allows you to view any responses that have already been made

Please Note: only responses processed will be available to view. Due to the volume of responses processing may take a number of weeks.

2. Questionnaires

Some consultation documents are "read only" which means to respond you should read the consultation document and then complete the associated questionnaire. 

The Local Development Scheme

Provides details of the documents that the Council is producing as part of the LDF and sets out the timetable for their production. View a copy of the Local Development Scheme (LDS).

Write Click this icon to make a representation (during consultation periods).
View Click this icon to view other people's representations.
View Disabled Indicates that no other representations have been made on this item.
